Welcome to the Port Campbell Cricket Club

Established 25th January 1879, the 'Swans' play from their home ground at the Port Campbell Recreation Reserve, located at the northern end of Port Campbell.

The club plays 40-over cricket in Victoria's Reid Stockfeeds South West Division Two competition. The 2014/15 season kicks off on Saturday October 18th, with 19 games scheduled before the finals begin in March 2015.

Port is a seaside village (pop. about 250) that sits smack-bang in the middle of the Port Campbell National Park, on the raw and beautiful Shipwreck Coast, close to the western end of Victoria's famous Great Ocean Road. The coastline is pretty well known for heaps of things; not least some old rocks called the Twelve Apostles. They are a series of huge, internationally renowned limestone stacks that stand a few metres off the coast, 12km east of Port Campbell. And other pretty popular coastal attractions such as Loch Ard Gorge, London Bridge and the Bay of Islands are less than a 15 minute drive away. Port also serves as an excellent entrance to a vibrant and industrious hinterland.

Before you go on, a wee disclaimer. We estabished this website to provide a light-hearted look into the club and the players who make it up. We don't intend to offer too much serious commentary about cricket, because we play the game for the love of playing the game. We're not trying to win sheep stations.

OK! We're back on track after an eventful Christmas and holiday break. On behalf of the Club, we hope everyone had a brilliant time doing whatever it was they did at the end of 2014, and wish everyone all the very best for 2015.

And here's hoping the Swannies can bring home the winner's sashes as they plough their way through the back end of the 14/15 season.
